Meet Meagan – Creating Safe, Supportive, and Inclusive Spaces
Meagan holds an Honours B.Sc. in Psychology, Neuroscience & Behaviour with Distinction, and a Minor in Mental Health, Addiction & Society from McMaster University. She is currently completing her practicum as part of her Master’s Degree in Psychotherapy, also at McMaster University.
Meagan is passionate about creating a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported. She takes a collaborative and compassionate approach to therapy, empowering individuals to draw on their own strengths as they work toward meaningful personal goals.
Her practice is trauma-informed, person-centred, and grounded in evidence-based approaches. Meagan integrates techniques from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to support clients through a variety of challenges, including anxiety, mood-related concerns, stress, insomnia, life transitions, and issues related to pregnancy and postpartum.
With warmth, empathy, and curiosity, Meagan strives to meet each client where they are, honouring their unique experiences and fostering growth and resilience.
Beyond Work Hours: Meagan enjoys reading, baking, and trying new Pilates classes with friends
