Meet Isabella – Walking Alongside You on Your Mental Health Journey
Isabella is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the college of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She holds an Honours Life Sciences Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Mc Master University and is currently completing her practicum as part of her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and Yorkville University.
Isabella is deeply committed to supporting the mental health and well-being of those she works with, bringing both passion and intentionality to her role. Through her experience volunteering and working with youth and adults across diverse settings, she has cultivated a thoughtful and grounded approach to care, allowing her to meet individuals where they are with sensitivity and respect.
She is known for her warm, approachable presence and her ability to create a space that feels safe, non-judgmental, and genuinely supportive. Isabella understands that reaching out for support can be a vulnerable and sometimes overwhelming step, and she prioritizes building trust by showing up with empathy, curiosity, and authenticity in every interaction. Her goal is to ensure each client feels not only heard, but truly understood.
Isabella is actively developing her clinical skills through evidence-based and client-centred modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). She takes a collaborative approach to therapy, working alongside clients to explore their strengths, navigate challenges, and define meaningful goals. Her work is guided by the belief that each individual’s experience is unique, and she thoughtfully adapts her approach to align with the specific needs and values of the person in front of her.
As an emerging counsellor, Isabella is dedicated to ongoing professional and personal growth. She places strong emphasis on self-awareness, ethical integrity, and culturally responsive care, recognizing these as essential foundations for effective and meaningful therapeutic relationships.
Beyond Work Hours: Isabella enjoys listening to music, spending time with friends, playing sports, and engaging in creative and artistic activities.
