Melissa is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Guelph-Humber and a Master’s degree in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. With a warm, grounded presence, she works with individuals of all ages to foster meaningful growth, resilience, and lasting change.
At the core of Melissa’s work is a deep belief that each person deserves to feel seen, understood, and accepted. She is especially passionate about helping clients embrace their unique identity, navigate life’s complexities, and build a stronger, more compassionate relationship with themselves. She is dedicated to supporting individuals as they navigate life’s challenges and reconnect with who they truly are.
Melissa approaches therapy as a collaborative and empowering process—one rooted in trust, respect, and emotional safety. She creates a space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings openly, at a pace that feels right for them. Her integrative approach draws from evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and person-centred techniques, allowing her to tailor each session to the individual needs of her clients.
Melissa understands that healing is not a destination, but a process. She is committed to walking alongside her clients as they gain insight, build confidence, and move forward in a way that feels authentic and aligned with who they are becoming.
Beyond Work Hours: Melissa enjoys spending quality time with loved ones, soaking up the sun, expressing her creativity through drawing, and staying active through soccer.
