Meet Sofia – Guiding Clients Toward Resilience, Clarity, and Self-Discovery

Sofia is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from York University and is currently completing her Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University.

Sofia is passionate about helping individuals of all ages—children, teens, and adults—navigate life’s challenges while building greater self-understanding and resilience. She provides a safe, inclusive, and non-judgmental space where clients feel supported in exploring their thoughts, emotions, and experiences.

With a warm and collaborative approach, Sofia works with clients experiencing concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, relationship and interpersonal difficulties, and major life transitions. She integrates evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and person-centred techniques, to tailor support to each client’s unique needs and goals.

Sofia believes that meaningful change begins with feeling truly heard and understood. She is committed to walking alongside her clients—whether children, adolescents, or adults—as they move toward greater clarity, confidence, and emotional well-being.

Beyond Work Hours: Sofia enjoys shopping, baking sweet treats, practicing Pilates, and travelling to new places.
